- What does the red light on my Digital Cable set top box mean and how do I turn it off?

That means you have a message! It also is indicated by a little mail envelope icon on your iGuide Screen. To view the messages, use your remote control and press the Menu key twice.
Arrow over and select 'Digital Messages' press OK.
You will see a list of messages. Highlight a message line and press OK to view the entire message.
When you are done, you can delete the message by selecting X when viewing the message. If all messages have been deleted, your red light will turn off. Messages are automatically deleted after two weeks. These messages allow us to inform you of important changes, special programming, and new services.
