Bright House Networks of Michigan Enhances Video On Demand Lineup
Company's latest On Demand features puts viewers in the driver's seat

Livonia, MI, April 7, 2008

For viewers not wanting to drive to the video store and rent a movie, Bright House Networks of Michigan offers their customers a more interactive cable experience with the company's Video On Demand service.

On Demand offers an exclusive, all-access pass to a variety of free, local, pay-per-view and premium programming. Recognizing what the company's Michigan customers want in terms of convenience and selection, Bright House Networks of Michigan will implement a series of Video on Demand enhancements.

"Our customers enjoy being able to watch their favorite programs on their own time," says Bob McCann, president of Bright House Networks of Michigan. "We're excited to offer them an expanded virtual video store that is entirely theirs for the taking."

With their remote control, viewers can start their favorite programs anytime, pause, fast-forward and rewind programming at the push of a button. With dozens of channels, hundreds of movies and thousands of free videos, there is truly something for everyone.

  • Free On Demand
    Bright House's free On Demand selection includes programming from popular channels and is kept fresh with weekly updates. Subscribers can tune into Music Choice for a selection of new music videos, or check out a movie trailer or watch a free movie. Cable channels such as Oxygen, A&E Network, CNN, and Fine Living also provide programming.
  • Local On Demand
    What's new in the community? Viewers can keep up with neighborhood happenings by watching Bright House Local On Demand. This free feature runs local programming such as graduations, sporting events and other presentations of local interest. Local On Demand also provides helpful tutorials on Bright House services and YOU On Demand, a place to view locally submitted videos.
  • Premium On Demand
    Premiums on Demand will allow subscribers to HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and The Movie Channel to receive HBO On Demand, Showtime On Demand, Cinemax On Demand and The Movie Channel On Demand at no additional charge. Current premium customers also have access to their favorite original series programming, family favorites and sporting events.

    • Entertainment On Demand: Program from BET, Comedy Central, Fox Reality, MTV, The N, Noggin, and VH1
    • Lifestyle On Demand: Programming from HGTV, DIY, Food Network and TV One.
    • Cutting Edge On Demand: Programming from Adult Swim, Amine Network, G4, Octane TV Comedy Central and Ripe TV.
    • Kids On Demand: Programming from Cartoon Network, PBS Kids Sprout, Kid's Club, Boomerang and more.
    • TV Guide SPOT On Demand: This On Demand channel offers programs to help customers find their favorite shows on TV each week.
    • Speed On Demand: over 20 hours of programming from Pinks, Drag Racing, Gearz, American Thunder and races from Superbikes to Stock Cars.
    • National Geographic On Demand: 10 hours of programming from Dangerous Jobs, Dogs and National Geographic Wild.
    • Oxygen On Demand: TV network for women with 15 hours of programming plus a free Karaoke channel
    • Sportskool On Demand: 20 hours of programming that delivers expert, in-dept sports instruction and coaching in a wide variety of sports and fitness activities
    • Expo TV On Demand: A brand new consumer video service that showcases the best product demonstrations available through long form Video on Demand.
    • Movie Trailers On Demand: Features movie trailers from top-Hollywood studios in two categories, "Coming Soon" and "In Theatres."
