Bright House Introduces Two New High Definition Channels

Livonia, MI, December 21, 2007

Bright House Networks of Michigan today announced the addition of two new High Definition (HD) channels to its HD tier. TBS HD and National Geographic HD will be available in Bright House's High Definition tier at no additional charge for HDTV customers. These new channels will enhance programming choices for HD customers who want more high-resolution pictures; wider aspect ratios and Dolby Digital surround sound.

On December 21, the leading cable and Internet services provider will launch the two HD channels. TBS HD can be seen on Channel 236 and National Geographic HD can be seen on channel 234.

"With the addition of the two new HD channels, Bright House Networks is responding to the increasing popularity of the HD format and customers' growing desire for HD programming," said Robert McCann, president of Bright House Networks of Michigan. "TBS and National Geographic in HD is certainly a big draw for viewers, and now our customers can reap the benefits."

In addition to the network's top-rated line-up of comedy programming, TBS HD will also showcase high-def presentations of blockbuster movies and original programming. National Geographic in HD enable viewers to experience superior image quality and widescreen cinematic picture and their entire lineup of favorite shows - Naked Science, MegaStructures, Seconds From Disaster and Explorer.

With the new HD channel additions, Bright House of Michigan will offer 20 HD channels to customers.
