Adding a little Disney magic to the holidays, Bright House Networks of Michigan today announced the launch of Disney on Demand to its On Demand lineup.
Bright House's Disney on Demand offers the most popular Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney series and original moves that children love and parents trust. The new On Demand channel includes series and episodic premieres each month of select popular shows such as Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Disney's Little Einsteins, and Disney Channel Original Movies. All content is available On Demand, allowing customers to pause, fast-forward and rewind to watch programming as many times as desired.
"We are extremely excited to be able to offer Disney on Demand on Bright House's On Demand lineup," said Robert McCann, President of Bright House Networks of Michigan. "Disney on Demand has something for the entire family; with just a click of the remote, families have the opportunity to watch their favorite Disney channel shows or movies at their convenience."
Following are Disney on Demand programming highlights:
Playhouse Disney on Demand
- Disney MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE: This interactive series introduces a new generation of preschoolers to Mickey Mouse and his lovable band of friends as they embark on exciting play-along capers, inviting kids at home to help them solve problems and overcome obstacles.
- Disney MY FRIENDS TIGGER & POOH: Pooh, Tigger and friends from the Hundred Acre Wood welcome new neighbors - an adorable six-year-old girl named Darby and her puppy, Buster. With the help of adventurous Super Sleuths Tigger and Pooh, every episode revolves around the solving of a mystery and interactive curriculum that encourages viewers to help them out.
- Disney HANDY MANNY: Manny Garcia, the best darn handyman in town, and his eclectic group of talking tools work together to fix objects, help neighbors and show preschoolers how to conquer everyday problems.
- Disney LITTLE EINSTEINS: An interactive series in which classical music and great works of art play a key role in taking preschoolers on real-world adventures with their friends Leo, Annie, Quincy and June as they complete a special "mission of the day."
Disney Channel Series on Demand
- HANNAH MONTANA: 14-year-old Miley Stewart has a secret identity, but she's no superhero…she's the famous teen pop sensation, Hannah Montana. In order to maintain her normal family life and friendships, Miley goes to great lengths to make sure that nobody discovers that underneath her wigs and makeup, Hannah Montana is really just the girl next door.
- CORY IN THE HOUSE: Cory's entrepreneurial scheming reaches new heights as he mingles amongst high-powered Washington, DC elite when his dad becomes the personal chef to the President of the United States.
- THE SUITE LIFE OF ZACK AND CODY: Zack & Cody (11-year-old identical twin boys) get to live with their single mom in Boston's swankiest hotel, the Tipton. The boys have a hard time staying out of trouble and enjoy treating the hotel like their own personal playground.
- THAT'S SO RAVEN: Raven Baxter is a typical teenager who just happens to be psychic. The only problem is that Raven's sneak peeks into the future can make her (and her best friends Eddie and Chelsea) jump to wrong conclusions.
Disney on Demand is available as a subscription service for $3.99/month and can be found in the On Demand Menu under Premium on Demand. Digital equipment is required.
