Sharing summer travel photos online has never been easier for Bright House Networks of Michigan's high speed Internet customers thanks to major Webmail enhancements announced today. The Bright House Networks Road Runner Mail 4.0 platform has been enriched to give customers a variety of new features.
- More storage space - a full 2 gigabytes of storage for standard Internet customers, and 5 gigabytes of storage for premium Internet customers
- More mailboxes -10 each for standard and premium level Internet customers
- New SPAM and junk filtering options with advanced SPAM reporting features
- Easier-than-ever email address book and management options, along with simple message storage capabilities
- Double the maximum attachment size, perfect for today's higher resolution digital photographs
- Easy-to-access remote e-mail access while away from home
- The ability to integrate email with Sprint cell phone service

"As with the three broadband Internet speed increases we have activated over the past three years, the new Road Runner Mail 4.0 enhancements are being provided at no additional charge to customers."
Following are the valuable new mail management features and functions:
- Parental Controls that block specific senders and/or domains from sending emails to a children
- Email return receipts to track undelivered emails
- Privacy controls that allow customers to block images while viewing HTML messages
- Junk mail handling that traps and eliminates junk emails
- Message blocking to control the Webmail destination of unwanted messages
- Mail forwarding and tracking
- Message filters that allow more control over inbound emails
- Sub-accounts with their own disk space
- Account management ability at all levels
"With these latest enhancements, Bright House Networks Road Runner customers can now look to Mail 4.0 as their primary mail application," Severts said.
