Bright House Networks Announces Family Tier Details

New tier debuts March 31, 2006. Family Tier provides G-PG rated channels at an affordable price

Livonia, MI, March 31, 2006

Bright House Networks new family programming tier, which was announced in December 2005, will launch March 31, 2006 in Livonia, Redford, Farmington, Farmington Hills and Novi and will feature more than a dozen family-friendly channels. The new digital tier package consists of primarily G and PG rated channels including C-Span 2, C-Span 3, CNN Headline News, Discovery Kids, Discovery Science, Disney Channel, DIY Network, Fit TV, HGTV, Nick Games & Sports, The Weather Channel, Toon Disney and TV Food Network.

“We have always made available to our customers the tools by which they can actively exclude any channel or program they might find objectionable for their families,” says Bob McCann, president of Bright House Networks Detroit Division. “This new family tier offers them yet another way to obtain kid-friendly programs without the need for parents to proactively block programs from their TV sets.”

For $32.95, Bright House Networks customers will receive the family tier along with basic cable, and select Interactive TV applications like the Interactive Guide.

“This is another example of Bright House Networks continued commitment to offering customers what they want,” adds McCann.

Customers interested in subscribing to the new family tier should contact Bright House Networks customer service at 866-898-9101.
